Modine PDP Gas Unit Heater Features:
***This is a POWER vented unit with ELECTRONIC ignition. Some other companies are trying to substitute gravity vented units and standing pilots which are obsolete and do not meet newer energy codes.***
• 80% thermal efficiency, maximizing seasonal efficiency through the use of a collector box and the integral power exhauster.
• Integral power exhaust can be rotated 180°. The unit can be vented vertically or horizontally.
• 100% shut-off, intermittent spark ignited pilot-ignition system with continuous retry.
• Factory built for use with natural gas or propane (please specify).
• Vent safety pressure-switch assures safe venting conditions.
• Designed to utilize the smallest-diameter vent pipe possible.
• “Wing” screws allow the bottom pan to be dropped without a screwdriver or
nut driver.
• A level hanging mechanism for easy field adjustments after adding accessories that may change the unit's center of gravity.
